Welcome to the faculty of Leadership and Governance (FLG) at IPAM-USL. The FLG prepares and equip and equip students with the knowledge and skills in the public and private sector disciplines. The faculty capacitates students with leadership theories and practice on the one hand, and the rudiments of good democratic governance practices, on the other. The FLG is home to two Departments: The Departments of Public Administration and Leadership and Development. The Department of Public Administration runs undergraduate programme in Public Sector management and a post-graduate studies in Public Administration. The Department of Leadership and Development runs a bachelor's degree in leadership and sustainable development and Masters programmes in Development Management and Governance and Leadership.
Admission requirement for the Maters programme in the faculty is as follows:
1. Successful completion of first degree with at least a second division or a second class second division with at least three years of work experience
2. A division three with at least five years of work experience would be considered.
The entry requirement for the bachelor's degrees in the faculty is as follows:
1. Must have at least five credits (including Mathematics-unit 6 or better and English Language-unit 5 or better) in WASSCE and in not more than two sittings.
2. Students are admitted into Second Year after a successful completion of the two- year Diploma Course in Public Sector management including five credits (including Mathematics and English) in WASSCE.
